Are you a street dancer ready to turn your passion into paid opportunities? This 10-week program is designed to expand your knowledge and help you build stronger skills within the dance industry landscape. Whether you want to plan events, perform on theatre stages, or strengthen your employability skills, this incubator gives you resources and tools to grow! 

Each week, you'll learn from highly respected mentors who will break down key topics like:

  • How to navigate the dance industry
  • Event planning & dance curation
  • Financial literacy
  • Brand Identity & Editing 
  • Strength & conditioning for longevity
  • Freestyling, performance & storytelling
  • Music-dance connection & interpretive skills

This program is for dancers aged 16-29 who are serious about investing into their careers.
You must be available for the full 10 weeks to register.

Who is this program for: Underserved emerging artists (ages 16-29) in the GTA 

Program size: 20 participants 

When is it happening: Mondays, 6pm to 9pm (May 5th to July 7th)

Where is it happening: Hybrid, in-person at the Unity Studio 1560 Yonge St with a few sessions online on Zoom

How much will it cost: It’s free.

  • Virtual interview between April 21st and April 25th

ONLY 20 DANCERS WILL BE SELECTED FOR THIS ROUND 

Eligibility Requirements
  • Must reside in the GTA 
  • Must be available for the full 10 weeks to participate (May 5th - July 7th, 2025)
  • Must be available to arrive at 5:30pm (30 min early) on May 5th
  • Must be able to participate in both in-person and virtual sessions
  • Must be between the ages of 16 and 29
  • Must self-identify as underserved
