Are you an MC looking to improve your craft? Ever want to learn about how to grow your career as an independent hip hop artist? Curious to learn more about the music industry?

For the first time, Unity is presenting Rough Draft,  a 15-week MC launch program for underserved emerging youth artists from across the GTA (ages 16-24). If you’re interested in further developing your creative and technical skills in the MCing artform, and want to learn about navigating your career and the music industry, this program is for you!

This program will run virtually between March 22nd – July 2nd, and will require participants to take part in one weekly, 3-hour long workshop. Participants will work with established MCs and music industry professionals to learn about cadence, flow, lyricism, audio engineering, revenue streams, grant writing, publishing, deal structures, and much more.
