Vivian Yeung has been a teacher with the Toronto District School Board for 14 years. She is a kinesiology specialist and has spent the last 12 years of her career in leadership positions leading the Physical and Health Education Department at various schools in Scarborough or as the Co-Curricular Leader for Community Partnerships and Leadership Development.
Vivian enjoys coaching various sports and helping in school wide events to promote school spirit and enhance the educational experience for youth. She believes in character development and the growth of leadership among young people as one of the most important duties in her role as an educator.
Vivian donates her time to support two charitable organizations, one being UNITY- running their successful 12-week after school program and the other with Youth Unlimited working with youth from Scarborough to serve both locally and internationally in small villages in the Dominican Republic.
Vivian is the mother of 3 children and enjoys sports, healthy living and spending time with family and friends.
